The Caribbean Movement for Peace and Integration (CMPI) stands in solidarity with the Government and People of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) and supports President Kim Jong Un the Supreme Leader of the Workers Party of Korea with his action to launch the Earth Observation Satellite – Kwangmyongsong 4 on the birthday of our Great Leader Kim Il Sung, the 6th February 2016.
Our Movement supports the call for a peaceful Independence and Reunification of Korea. The action of the Government of the DPRK is to realize the reunification independently through concerted efforts of the North and South with mutually agreed mode of reunification. It was due the foreign forces that Korea was divided in the 20th century and it is due to the USA and its followers that Korea still remains divided even in the 21st century.
The CMPI will also continue to support the call for a Peace Treaty on the Korean Peninsula.
